We have initiated a number of changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Henceforth we will be only accepting bookings for every other week. That’s one week on and one week off, Friday to Friday. This is to maintain the apartment free and empty for three days prior to the cleaners going and empty once more for one/two days after it has been cleansed and prepped prior to the arrival of the next guests. Additionally we are offering four and three night weekend breaks for £560 and £420 respectively throughout the year except all school holiday; Easter, Christmas, Summer and Half Terms. This approach is to provide peace of mind for guests and staff.

Prices are inclusive for four persons, the apartment ideal for families with two teenage children, two couples (there is only one double bed), or one couple who appreciate ample living space.

It is not recommended as suitable for young infant children and toddlers.

Owing to the height of the front garden and terrace, above the pavement, and the slope of the lawn, we do not encourage families with children under 12 years – especially toddlers. It would be too easy for active youngsters to injure themselves. If, however, parents and guardians are aware that there are potential pitfalls for over exhuberant youngsters, and are comfortable that they can keep an eye on their them, children may be accepted after discussions with the owners.

Deposit and Payment

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. However, if the booking is made less that eight weeks prior to arrival the entire booking amount shall be paid in full. Should you, the ‘client’, cancel more than four weeks prior to arrival we will make every attempt to rebook your reservation. Should this occur all your monies shall be refunded – less the deposit, that is non refundable. Should the cancellation be made less than four weeks prior to arrival all payment is to be retained. When you make a deposit you are agreeing to a legally binding contract, therefore you may wish to take out adequate travel/cancellation insurance to cover any last minute changes to your plans, that will additionally cover the non refundable deposit.
Payment can be made by cheque or by bank transfer (BACS).


The Red House Apartment is available on the understanding that it will be left in the same condition of cleanliness and tidiness in which it was found, with all personal waste/rubbish removed. We don’t insist on a breakages deposit but trust occupiers will pay for any damages they may cause, buy or agree to buy like for like replacements, or pay any additional cleaning expenses.
Occupiers are requested not to move or rearange The Red House Apartment’s furniture or facilities without the owners’ prior consent.


We like dogs, but we do not allow them on the furniture – beds, chairs and settees – nor do we allow them to be left alone in the apartment, or unattended in either of the garden terraces, front or back. No other form of pet is permitted.

Access and Parking
Access to the apartment is from the front of the property where it is easiest to unload from a car. Parking is often available there, on the street, directly infont of the property. Otherwise there is space for one car, off street, to the rear.
